Five years after the end of the webcomic, ‘That’s How Sally Walks’, Sally, her boyfriend Ed, and friend June have settled on a farm to live in peace.

Sally’s life was always hard, and her social awkwardness and anxiety didn’t help. But now, for the past five years she’s lived in complete safety, and grown more into the dynamic, eccentric, confident person she always could be.

Now, at the age of 29, wedding bells are ringing, as Ed proposes, and Sally announces that she is
pregnant! Soon everyone good in her life will be together and celebrate their big day, but in the meantime, Sally’s father needs a visit in Taiwan, of all places.

Sally, Ed, and Ed’s little brother Tommy hop on a plane to Taiwan to bond with Sally’s extended family.
